Omar Alonso is the founder of Live Oaxaca. Born and raised in Oaxaca, he emigrated to the United States at 18 years old where he worked in the hospitality industry in Los Angeles for a decade before returning to Oaxaca where he continued his career in hospitality, learning more about his hometown and guest services.
In 2013, Live Oaxaca was born—a series of unique curated experiences for visitors to Oaxaca focusing on gastronomy and mezcal, tailored to each individual's needs and interests.
